Terms & Conditions

Jo’s Jets – Exterior Cleaning & Pressure Washing

1. Quotations

All quotations are provided based on the information available at the time of quoting and may be subject to change if the condition, size or accessibility of the area differs from that originally described.

Quotations are valid for the period stated and are subject to availability.

2. Booking & Payment

A booking is confirmed once a date has been agreed with the customer. Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For larger or specialist projects, a deposit may be required.

3. Access & Water Supply

Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the area being cleaned and ensuring that any agreed water or electricity supply is available where required.

If access is restricted or unavailable, this may result in the job being delayed or an additional charge being incurred.

4. Cleaning Results

We always aim to achieve the best possible results using appropriate professional cleaning methods. However, results can vary depending on the age, condition, material, staining, weathering and previous treatments of the surface.

Some stains, discolouration, paint, oil, rust, lichen or ingrained contamination may not be completely removable.

We cannot guarantee that every surface will return to its original appearance.

5. Delicate & Pre-existing Surfaces

Pressure washing and chemical cleaning can expose existing damage, deterioration, loose pointing, damaged surfaces or defects that were not visible beforehand.

Jo’s Jets cannot be held responsible for pre-existing damage or defects that become apparent during or following cleaning.

Where appropriate, we may recommend alternative cleaning methods or advise that a surface is unsuitable for pressure washing.

6. Sanding & Repointing

Where sanding or repointing is included, the longevity of the finished result can depend on weather conditions, drainage, movement, surface condition, weeds and general wear.

Any guarantee offered will be subject to the specific terms agreed at the time of quotation.

7. Sealing

Where sealing is requested, the customer will be advised of the expected finish and limitations of the chosen sealer.

Sealing does not make a surface completely stain-proof or maintenance-free, and the longevity of the treatment will depend on use, weather and surface conditions.

8. Weather Conditions

Exterior cleaning is weather dependent. We reserve the right to postpone or rearrange work where conditions such as heavy rain, frost, extreme temperatures or high winds could affect safety or the quality of the finished result.

9. Customer Property

Customers should remove or secure fragile, valuable or vulnerable items from the area before work begins.

Jo’s Jets will take reasonable care when carrying out work but cannot accept responsibility for items that have not been appropriately secured or disclosed to us beforehand.

10. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.

We reserve the right to charge for cancellations or missed appointments where reasonable notice has not been provided, particularly where significant preparation, travel or equipment has been arranged.

11. Complaints

We want every customer to be happy with the service provided. If you have any concerns regarding completed work, please contact us as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to inspect the work and, where appropriate, resolve the issue.

12. Right to Refuse Work

Jo’s Jets reserves the right to decline or stop work where a surface is considered unsafe, unsuitable for the proposed cleaning method, or where continuing could reasonably result in damage.

13. Photographs & Marketing

With the customer’s permission, photographs of completed work may be used by Jo’s Jets for marketing, social media and website purposes. No personal information will be published without consent.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By accepting a quotation or booking our services, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The terms applicable to your booking will be those provided or displayed at the time of booking.
